Like all Glenmorangie expressions, it begins as a delicate, fruit-forward spirit distilled in Scotland's tallest copper stills. After a full decade of maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is transferred into specially selected ruby port pipes from the Quintas of Portugal for an additional four years. This extended finishing process completely transforms the spirit, weaving a profound, velvety tapestry of rich dark chocolate, vibrant mint, and sweet mandarin orange. It is a luxurious, complex dram with a stunningly deep, ruby-red hue, providing an unforgettable, dessert-like experience for the most discerning guests.
